The Washington Valley Business Alliance (WVBA) is a subcommittee of the Martinsville Community Center. It was formed in June 2012 and has continued to develop and grow.
The Washington Valley Business Alliance meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month and is a partnership of local businesses, business owners, and members of the community working together to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in Martinsville and the surrounding area by:
- Providing an opportunity for the business community to increase their revenues by promoting their business to the community in general and to other businesses.
- Providing monthly networking and educational programs to the business members and general public.
- Providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information among local businesses.
- Actively supporting the Martinsville Community Center’s Mission through fundraising, participation in scheduled events and assistance with various projects.
Fulfilling this mission will instill a sense of community spirit and pride.
